Vineyard

The first vineyard was planted in 2008 - 1 acre next to the vacation rental.  We planted for the next 2 consecutive years. With lots of help from family, and friends,  6.5 acres of vines are spread out on the Thomsen property next to the vineyard and winery, nestled in the fields and along a hillside. We are a licensed winery.In 2008, Innpsiration started making Apple Razz wine from our apple orchard.  In 2010, we started making small batches of wine from our own grapes.  Grapes from our own vineyard should produce around 3,000 gallons of wine. Iowa now has over 400 commercial vineyards and more than 100 wineries.
